Discussion of Post-Care & perfecting appointment
What is a perfecting appointment (8-10 week touch-up) & do I need it?
Majority of the time perfecting appointments are essential for a perfect cosmetic tattoo. This appointment's main purpose is to correct all the possible imperfections. Not everyone's skin heals evenly, any areas where the pigment didn't take in the skin. Any change for modifications in shape or color can be done during this appointment.
Does it hurt?
Most do not have any discomfort during the tattooing process with the help of local anesthetic. There are some rare cases where local anesthetic does not work and will get discussed with each individual prior to appointment. You can have some slight soreness for the first few hours after procedure & tenderness for up to a couple of days.
How long does it Last?
The body's skin changes over time and so will any permanent makeup coloration. Natural fading process takes years and are recommended 1-2 year touch-ups. Acceleration depends on skin type, texture, routine, life style, sun exposure (without sunscreen). Avoid Acids, strong scrubs & retinol products on/near as they will prematurely fade your permanent tattoo.
Is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos as a means of producing a designs that resemble make-up or permanently enhancing the skin. Such as hair strokes for eyebrows or shadow for a more powdered brow look.

FAQ
Post-Care
CARE: Blot area w/tissue for first few hours. First 10 days-do not wash or soak in water, wash around the treated areas w/makeup wipes, avoid sleeping on face & long showers, no sweating.
Hybrid & Ombre Brow: wash areas with approved cleansers and apply rice grain amount of Aquaphor 2x daily while keeping microblading strokes dry.
NOTE: Stay away from-sun (use SPF after first 10 days), chlorine, scrubs, peels; anti-aging/acne skincare and vitamin C will lighten the pigment. No skincare w/acid near the eyebrow forever.
HEALING: Days 1-3: Eyebrows appear darker/bolder as the skin heals itself and forms a layer of excess pigment on top.
Days 4-6: Natural exfoliation begins. This will cause the excess pigment to flake away starting at the outside edges.
Days 7-10: New skin will heal over the treated area and result in a softer, narrower, grayer appearance. The color will clarify over the next few weeks. You can apply makeup as needed to the area after the flaking has finished.
Perfecting appointment is no sooner than 8 weeks later. Color boosts are annual.
